Ready4Sea

Your Digital Assistant for Multihull Maintenance

Keeping on top of maintaining your multihull requires rigor and foresight: technical logbooks, regulatory deadlines, unexpected failures... all of which can quickly becomecomplex.

Ready4Sea is an app that addresses this issue, and it’s been developed by long-term sailors. Founder Nicolas Rémy, an engineer and avid sailor, sailed more than 63,000 nautical miles during the course of a seven-year circumnavigation with his wife Heidi. From this experience, which inevitably saw a few minor technical glitches, came the conviction that methodical monitoring remains the best guarantee of safety, whether underway or at anchor. Ready4Sea introduced two major new features in the spring: ChatBoat, a conversational assistant that helps to make an initial diagnosis of a breakdown, and the automatic generation of the special inspection log, a mandatory document for all charter boats, including between charters private individuals. Often dozens of pages long, this file can now be produced in just a few clicks. The app is available on smartphones, tablets, and computers. The free Basic package already covers the needs of most boaters, with up to twousers and thirty items of equipment, while annual subscriptions complete the offer for fleetmanagement or more advanced services.
