This new model from the fishing range only just arrived in time to make its world premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, as the cargo ship transporting it from China was running two and a half weeks behind schedule...
In the end, we were able to discover the 36 Molokai, a powercat designed primarily for fishing but offering enough comfort - with multiple seats and, above all, a cabin with a queen-size bed and bathroom - to allow for other activities such as day trips or coastal cruising. Even though the shipyard has deliberately limited itself to two powerful outboards (300 to 500 HP) rather than four, the 36 Molokai still exceeds 52 knots at top speed and ensures a cruising speed of 40 knots.
