Like her big sistership, the 482, the Balance 442 has “broken” bows, i.e. straight near the waterline then inverted as they approach deck level. This new model also features the famous mobile helm station already seen on the 526 - the low position allows the helmsman to be perfectly protected. Thanks to the 442’s contained displacement, she achieved averages of 12 to 13 knots and nice peaks that topped 15.
