Lagoon’s Premium division has already launched more than 50 units, testifying to customers’ enthusiasm for these very large catamarans built in small series production runs - but by a custom service - and justifying the design of even larger models…
Our YouTube Short:
In concrete terms, it is the historic Seventy range that is being phased out to make way for the Eighty. There are few changes to the hulls, which have been slightly lengthened, but the deck layout and interior design are completely new.
Aboard the Eighty 2, which we have just been taking an exclusive look at in Bordeaux, we find the famous opening in the hull topsides as first seen on the Seventy 7 - it acts as a terrace on the water in the Owner’s suite. Despite being proportionately narrower in beam than the Sixty, for example, the deck offers a flybridge of some 540 square feet (50 m²) that can be fitted out as desired, while aft, the platform connecting the sugarscoops covers 236 sq ft (22 m²)... Inside, you’ve got the choice of galley up or galley down.
The Lagoon Eighty 2 will very soon be available in a power version under the name of the Eighty 3.
