Cuba is situated at the entry to the Gulf of Mexico, less than 170 km from the American coast and is over 1200km long.
Weather :
The climate is of the sub-tropical type. There are two major seasons in Cuba: a dry season, from November to May and a wet season from June to October. The temperatures vary very little between the two, remaining at around an average of 25°. The difference lies in the rainfall. Despite everything, even in the rainy season, the weather is good; the rain takes the form of short, sharp showers.

The official language is Spanish.
Medical formalities :
There are no compulsory vaccinations when visiting Cuba. However, given the difficult economic situation in the country, certain precautions are advisable before leaving in order to ensure a worry-free stay. It is best to take a basic first-aid kit, aspirin, disinfectant, analgesics and other products you are likely to need. Local clinics, which are well-known for the quality of their care, will treat you in the case of a major health problem.
