CannesCompared to its predecessor, the M.10 has 18” (45 cm) longer hulls than the M.9, and the berths are 8” (20 cm) wider. The steering wheel is now an integral part of the helm station, while the forward cockpit has a redesigned layout. The wings and arches are more attractive, and the roof, now made of aluminum, is more robust. The shaft-driven propulsion system retains lithium batteries, which have been increased from 32 to 40 kWh for virtually the same weight, allowing the new model to sail self- sufficiently at 7 knots on a beautiful summer day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. To make the M.10 as easy to use as possible, the yard has developed an intelligent energy management system that takes into account energy production, consumption, and, of course, storage. www.millikan-boats.com
