Here is the new flagship of the C-Cat range, only just out of shipyard at Fiumicino, near Rome, with a stunning gold livery. Italian shipyard Comar Yachts has set itself an ambitious goal with this all-carbon multihull that’s set to be unveiled very soon at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The C-Cat 65 will be taking on models that are already well-established in the sector of high performance, top of the range catamarans over 60 feet - Gunboat, HH, McConaghy, and O Yachts. It looks as though the project is being well carried out judging by the very attractive design - the two-tone coachroof and the design of the hatches are particularly successful. The sleek deck plan manages to combine maneuverability, with two helm stations at mid-height, ease of moving around on board, and relaxation.
The nacelle benefits from a very wide opening onto the cockpit. In the hulls, the builder offers 3 to 5 cabins.
