Catana Ocean Class²

Notably, this model has put in remarkable performances in recent editions of the ARC and ARC+, dominating the top spots in the multihull fleets without placing excessive demands on the crews... In short, the Ocean Class is all about gliding through the water and easy blue water cruising.

For us at Multihulls World, we’d love to see the shipyard introduce a little sistership and/or a bigger one, just to really relaunch the brand. It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer for that, but for now, there’s a version #2 of the OC50, whose layout has been redesigned by Piaton & Bercault. In addition to the use of new woods and new fabrics, there’s a larger aft window, a new storage compartment extended from a bench seat, a more cozy, modular saloon, an optimized galley, and several improvements designed to further enhance comfort for blue water cruising. The good news is that the 13½-ton displacement remains unchanged.
