Genoa Boat Show

138,273 Visitors and an Ever-Growing Multihull Presence

The 66th Genoa International Boat Show closed its doors on October 6 with figures showing significant growth. Organized by Confindustria Nautica at the Waterfront di Levante, the Italian show welcomed 138,273 visitors, up 11.3% compared to 2025. More than 1,000 boats were on display, including 215 new models, with exhibitors from 45 countries.

Among the trends at the 2026 edition, we will of course highlight the 28% increase in the number of multihulls on display. Powercats were particularly numerous in the areas dedicated to powerboating, with Bluegame, Jeanneau, Omaya, Pioneer, Prestige and Yot among those present, while Bali, Catana, Excess, Fountaine Pajot, Heysea, Lagoon and Seawind provided strong representation for sailing multihulls. Aquila and Leopard, meanwhile, were present with both their sailing and power ranges. This increased presence once again confirms the growing importance of our favorite boats at major international shows.

Another interesting figure: more than 4,600 sea trials were carried out during the six days of the show. This is one of Genoa’s distinctive features, allowing visitors and potential buyers to do more than simply inspect boats at the dock. The organizers also reported orders and contracts concluded during the show, along with strong attendance from international buyers. The incoming program brought together professionals and journalists from 35 countries and generated 580 B2B meetings.

Equipment was also well represented: the TechTrade Days brought together more than 400 brands specializing in accessories and components. FORUM26, meanwhile, devoted considerable attention to developments directly affecting our industry: artificial intelligence, electrification, hybrid propulsion, cybersecurity, new materials and the environmental transition.
With 1,287 accredited journalists and 90 forums and debates held over the six days, Genoa also confirmed its international ambitions. The 67th edition is already scheduled for September 30 to October 5, 2027.
