As the 54 did with the 50, the Windelo 62 uses much of the same hull as the 58 to offer an even faster catamaran, capable of making way under sail from 4 knots of wind.
In addition to the elongation of the particularly elegant hulls with their strongly inverted deck sheer on the aft third, the rig features a mainsail and a solent increased by 118 square feet (11 m²) and 75 square feet (7 m²) respectively. Otherwise, the Windelo DNA is very much in evidence: as with the 58, the construction retains the basalt fiber and PET/PVC foam sandwich, and the hybrid propulsion system promotes energy production through solar panels and, above all, hydrogeneration.
