FLIR M300: Cameras For safer night sailing

FLIR, the American leader in the marine thermal imaging industry, has launched its new M300 range, consisting of five models with durable, robust housings and new orientation and tilt functions.

The M300 series cameras improve navigation safety, thanks to an integrated AHRS (attitude heading reference system) sensor that enhances image stability and provides skippers with a fixed field of view on rough seas. FLIR technology combines thermal video and high-definition visible color video to facilitate identification of buoyage, vessels and other targets when under way at night. The M300 series is also designed to integrate with the latest generation of marine navigation displays, including the Raymarine Axiom® range.
