Newport Squelette: Collector’s Edition

Inspired by the modern architecture of stealth ships, the Newport Squelette is in 4.2cm (1.65”) diameter stainless steel case. Polished and brushed to underline its multi-faceted design, it houses a conical crown, indented for a better grip. Complementing the box, the bezel has five hexacave screws, identical to the winch nuts on a sailing boat. The Squelette incorporates all the elements that made the Newport such a success: the bracelet’s central ties, a porthole style bezel and a marine wheel stamped on the crown. Water-resistant to 100 meters (330’), and designed to be worn in action, the Newport Squelette has an extremely tear-resistant rubber FKM strap. The face, protected by sapphire glass shows the movement, which has a steering-wheel design, an identifiable and iconic part of the Newport collection. For those who are interested, only 500 units have been produced for the world market.
