Day 31 - A Blue Ocean, and a Desire to Protect It!
Just a few dozen nautical miles from Guadeloupe, Éric Pilato takes a moment to share something particularly close to his heart: protecting the oceans. After a month of solo sailing aboard his Excess 11, Skiboo 2, the skipper from La Rochelle is pleased to report that he hasn't spotted a single piece of floating trash during his crossing. "We live on a beautiful planet! The ocean is such a magnificent blue. I expected to see plastic, but I haven't seen any. I get the feeling that this ocean is still pretty well preserved."
