Previewed at the IMS, the Outremer 48 shares the same length as the Outremer 45, but delivers features much closer to the new-generation models represented by the Outremer 55 and 52.
The new model is noticeably wider (by 41 cm) and heavier by 1.8 tonnes, improving tolerance and, above all, offering a payload capacity of 4 tonnes. Sail area has been increased so that the sail area-to-weight ratio remains favorable for strong performance. On deck, it adopts the “mixed” helm station concept, with a movable wheel to port and a tiller to starboard. Inside, the saloon benefits from larger windows (+45% surface area), and the builder offers a custom layout for the forward port cabin. A hybrid propulsion system is available as an option.
