The very first examples of the Sunreef 55 Ultima, produced by the Ras Al Khaimah factory, were unveiled in Dubai back in February. It was in the United Arab Emirates that we got the chance to step aboard this new powercat, which is set to be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival and no doubt in Florida in the fall.
The 55 Ultima is characterized by a moderate beam of 18’4” (5.6 m) and a very specific design that incorporates a steeply sloping and inverted front to the coachroof, an inverted deck sheer and finally angled bows.
Like all Sunreef yachts, the luxurious interior can be customized on request. As for the outdoor living spaces, they offer a spacious cockpit, sunbathing areas, a swimming platform and a large flybridge. The Sunreef 55 Ultima is also designed to be available in an Eco version with hybrid propulsion and various high-performance solar panel options.
