Despite a marked drop in attendance compared to previous editions, the La Rochelle Boat Show, better known in France as “Le Grand Pavois”, remains a thriving in-water event capable of bringing together 600 international brands, with some 53 countries represented this year.
Among the 500 boats on display, there were a few dozen multihulls, but few of them were “real” new models. The Miami International Boat Show in February, the International Multihull Show held back in April at La Grande-Motte, and above all the recent Cannes Yachting Festival hosted almost all of the 2025 world premieres. As for the upcoming Annapolis Sailboat Show, it also promises five new multihulls... That left us with the Astus 26.5: this small trimaran was THE new model not to be missed at La Rochelle, and we rushed to try it out as soon as the show ended!
As for boating equipment side, the results were more convincing - lots of energy, new products, orders - and, of course, reports for Multihulls World.
Next year’s edition is already being organized, with dates set for September 22-27, 2026.
