In the highly exclusive world of luxury charter yachts, a few brands immediately stand out, and Lagoon is one of them. The Seventy 8 multiyacht (soon to be replaced by the Eighty 3) is the flagship of the Bordeaux-based manufacturer’s Premium range: this model offers considerable space and a level of customization that places it in the world of semi-custom yachts. Zenit, one of the latest models to be launched, is a fine example of the performance you can expect when cruising aboard such a vessel.
In 2016, the Seventy 7 marked Lagoon’s entry into the world of multihull yachts, a venture that proved highly successful with the launch of the motor version of this model a year later, the Seventy 8. Many elements, including most of the hulls, were borrowed from these models to create the Eighty 2 and Eighty 3.
Zenit represents the culmination of Lagoon’s expertise in the world of large catamarans. Launched in 2024, this powercat is 78‘ (23.84 m) long and 36’ (11 m) wide. In fact, this multihull yacht is designed as a true luxury residence on the water, combining marine performance, stability, and spectacular volume.
As soon as you step aboard, Zenit catches your eyes with its elegant, contemporary look. Its sleek lines, panoramic glass surfaces, and huge flybridge offer a feeling of volume and space, whether you’re looking at it from a distance or standing anywhere on board. The catamaran has been designed to offer fluid movement between the different living spaces, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the sea, the sun, and the scenery without feeling confined. Between the vast foredeck and its relaxation area, the cockpit, and the flybridge, there is enough space to relax quietly without being far from the other people on board, which is a real plus.
The shipyard’s reputation is well established: the Seventy 8 guarantees smooth and safe sailing. Whether on a coastal cruise or a more ambitious crossing, Zenit ensures optimal comfort, even in rough seas. It is therefore an ideal vessel for luxury charters, capable of accommodating families, groups of friends, or private events in an exclusive and refined setting.
As for the interior, Zenit has been designed and decorated with contemporary elegance in mind. It features large spaces and fairly understated, almost Zen-like decor, which does not detract from its warm and decidedly upscale atmosphere.
The main lounge, bathed in natural light thanks to huge bay windows, offers a panoramic view of the sea. Noble materials, light woods, refined fabrics, meticulous finishes, and sleek furniture create an atmosphere that is both modern and soothing.
The open-plan, fully equipped galley meets all the standards of luxury yachting. It allows the chef to prepare gourmet meals while remaining connected to the guests. This space is perfectly integrated into the interior dining room, promoting conversation and conviviality on board.
Zenit can accommodate up to eight guests in four spacious and luxurious cabins, all with private head. The owner’s suite stands out for its exceptional size, king-size bed, ample storage space, five-star hotel-style bathroom, and terrace (part of the hull can be opened to the sea when at anchor), a feature that is quite unique in this category. The guest cabins offer the same level of comfort and privacy, guaranteeing a good night’s sleep after days filled with discoveries.
Outside, the flybridge is one of the catamaran’s highlights. This generously sized space ...
