As summer came to an end in Europe, the Cannes Yachting Festival symbolized the re-launch (at last!) of boat shows. Genoa, Barcelona and Paris followed - to name but three. In the United States, the Annapolis Boat Show was once again a success, as was FLIBS, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. So, the world of big nautical get-togethers is regaining a bit of color, even though the sustainability of some events such as the Singapore Yacht Show seems to be in question, given the lack of official dates as this issue went to press. The late cancellation of Boot Düsseldorf preceded by that of the Toronto International Boat Show due to the deteriorating health situation reminds us that the visibility still hasn’t entirely improved... That said, here is the 2022 program of the biggest boat shows - ashore and afloat - that we hope will be disrupted as little as possible...
