Austin Ellingsen – Yacht and Ship Consultant: A broker (really) listening to you!

This professional has now diversified by creating a new service for multihull buyers and sellers: “All too often, buyers and sellers have told me how difficult it is to get unbiased recommendations and help from yacht brokers. Many of them simply try to sell what they have immediate access to in order to make a quick commission. As a result, buyers sometimes feel compelled to close a deal with which they are not 100% satisfied. In order to offer buyers and sellers a better solution, I moved away from the brokers, dealers and manufacturers I used to work with and took on an independent role as a consultant.”

Austin has nevertheless joined forces with other brokers with whom he shares the same values in many European countries, such as Multicats International in France, and in Russia.
