Batteries on the quay
Among the biggest polluters we find aboard our boats (as well as in our homes), there are batteries and accumulators (including car-type batteries). Batribox is an intelligent operation being run for the moment in 5 Breton ports, but which we hope to see spread over the whole of the French coastline, then Europe, then the world…we can dream!
In five ports then (Saint-Quay-Port d’Amor, Le Legue, Port la Foret, Lorient and Le Crouesty) you will find collectors for your dry cells and batteries – which are made up of extremely polluting elements – so they can be recycled.
A very welcome initiative!
