CCY110

A Giant Aluminium Catamaran

Canadian builder Crescent Custom Yachts has begun construction of the first hull in its new CCY110 series, a 33.5-metre catamaran offered as a spec build.

This approach allows a future owner to benefit from a shorter delivery schedule while retaining considerable freedom to customise the interior layout and technical specifications as construction progresses.

Penned by Joe Lazzara and engineered by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects, the CCY110 is designed to deliver the volume and amenities of a 45-metre monohull while remaining below the 500 GT threshold, thanks to its shallow-draft aluminium multihull platform. The builder highlights improved efficiency, enhanced stability and access to cruising grounds such as Florida and the Bahamas, beyond the reach of many yachts of comparable size.

One of the project's standout features is its 140-square-metre beach club, conceived as the social hub of the yacht. It includes an outdoor galley with a teppanyaki grill, a plunge pool, a wellness area, several lounge spaces and direct access to the sea. Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in six staterooms, including a generous full-beam owner's suite.

Crescent plans to showcase its new multihull range at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this October.
