Energy Observer, the first hydrogen-powered boat

Energy Observer is a nice idea, as on the platform of a former racing boat, Formule Tag, Tag Heuer, Enza New Zealand, etc.

Victorien Erussard and his team have created a boat which is able to roam the world and be completely self-sufficient, thanks to the mixed nature of the energy production, and carbon-free production of hydrogen from sea water.

The idea therefore is to draw the boat’s energy from nature, without damaging it and without waste. The catamaran has just been launched and has left France for a 6-year expedition around the world, to prove – among other things – the potential of hydrogen as an energy source.
