Fountaine Pajot Group Greece

A New Joint Venture Between FP and Atalanta Marine

The La Rochelle-based Fountaine Pajot Group is strengthening its presence in the eastern Mediterranean by establishing a joint venture with Atalanta Marine, its longstanding partner in Greece for nearly 15 years.

Named Fountaine Pajot Group Greece (FPGG), the new company will oversee the development of the group's three brands - Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans, Fountaine Pajot Yachts and Dufour - in the Greek and Cypriot markets.

This is a significant move: Greece is one of the world's most dynamic boating markets, particularly thanks to its extensive charter industry. Founded in 1976, Atalanta Marine knows this sector well, specializing in yacht sales, charter and management. The new company, based near Alimos Marina in Athens, will be headed by Panos Douros, a yacht sales professional with more than 35 years of sailing and racing experience.

While the larger Fountaine Pajot Yachts catamarans are already enjoying considerable success in Greece, FPGG now aims to accelerate the development of the brand's sailing catamarans and Dufour monohulls. Beyond sales, the company will provide local administrative and technical support to both Owners and charter professionals.

In a nice coincidence, Fountaine Pajot and Atalanta Marine are both celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year.
