Back in 2023, the introduction of the TH36 by the famous American builder Four Winns caused quite a stir: for the first time, a catamaran was featured in their catalog. Would the name TH—for twin hull—remain an isolated appearance as a test model or would it become a complete range? We now have the answer: the shipyard is launching no fewer than two models, which will be unveiled at Cannes in September and then in Miami in February next year.
The Four Winns TH33 is a compact day cruiser with a respectable freeboard. At the helm station, two large forward-facing seats accommodate the helmsman and a passenger. The full windshield echoes the iconic Four Winns curve, and a T-top is available as an option. Wide access to the central cockpit and bathroom improves traffic flow. An outdoor galley features a sink, refrigerator, and optional electric grill. In total, the deck offers 400 square feet (37 m²) of usable space. The large storage space can be converted into a mini cabin.
As for the Four Winns 38, it naturally offers much more space – this is a weekender, as each hull houses an air-conditioned double cabin. The largest of the THs can accommodate 14 people, who can share the 495 square feet (46 m²) of deck space. We like the idea of the spacious forward saloon and the large aft deck area between the two engines. The yard also offers two versions of windshields: one can be full height and integrated into the hardtop, or lower to increase air circulation.
