The career of the Lagoon 46’s successor seems to be getting off to the best possible start, with 40 units sold even before the official presentation of this new model… For the 47, presented as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the designers have focused on the cockpit and forward door. Until now, the forward opening had been reserved for Lagoon Signature models (60 feet and above); the 47 suggests a new generation that will introduce this configuration on future models. While the forward door sparked considerable debate in 2010 with the launch of the Leopard 44, over the years it has become a standard feature - and today, an undeniable asset. With the 47, Lagoon goes even further, offering a complete 129 sq ft (12 m²) cockpit forward, reducing the traditional trampolines to the bare minimum.

This new model therefore offers two XXL protected/shaded areas - the aft cockpit and the aft section of the flybridge - as well as a sunny area with this new XXL solid foredeck. Another new feature is that the port aft cabin can be accessed directly from the cockpit. The 47 is also available with optional twin 25 kW electric pods.
