During Covid, many boat shows were unable to open their doors and began offering virtual tours instead. Shipyards, for their part, set up virtual marinas where multihulls could be visited. The organizers of the Palma International Boat Show innovated by presenting a virtual show... from their real show, which took place from April 30 to May 3.
The 170 high-resolution, spherical panoramas captured from a height of 6 meters (20 feet) offer a complete and interactive view of the boat show. Thanks to an intuitive interactive map that can be displayed at the top left of the screen, it is easy to “navigate” the docks and pontoons. The result is very impressive—provided you have a good internet connection—but unfortunately it cannot be used before the show, of course... Ultimately though, it’s still the actual boat show in Palma that really makes the event.
