The day ahead its public debut at the IMS, an armada of staff were still fine-tuning the last details… and the next morning, we were treated to the sight of a surprisingly refined blue water catamaran.
Like most of the models that have been designed by Pierre Delion - the architect made no secret of his satisfaction with the shipyard’s work - this new Simbad 55 features large, sweeping coachroof arches that conceal a vertical façade - and a well-protected forward cockpit. Work has gone into striking a balance between performance, comfort, and ease of use, featuring a high-end Doyle sail wardrobe paired with an XXL flybridge, powerful propulsion featuring twin 110 or even 150 HP motors, and an electric system for handling sail maneuvers. Inside, every detail has been carefully considered to create a chic and refined atmosphere. High-quality materials, such as bleached oak and walnut, are highlighted by generous natural lighting.
