Transat Jacques Vabre

For its 13th edition, the Transat Jacques Vabre should be particularly hotly disputed in the various classes, including the Multi50 and Ultime.

The 2017 edition returns to a course we know well, with the finish in Salvador de Bahia, as in 2001 and 2007. 4,350 miles long, this course is complicated, passing through the doldrums and with particularly tricky weather conditions to manage. In 2015, François Gabart and Pascal Bidégorry won, in the first race for the trimaran Macif in the Ultime class, whilst Erwan Le Roux and Yann Eliès proved to be fastest in the Multi50 class.

This year, the Ultimes could well put on a show, while we will also discover the new version of the Multi50s, now equipped with foils.

Departure from Le Havre on 5th November, for an estimated finish between 10 and 12 days later.
