Barely has the Veya 53 made its world premiere in Cannes and the young French brand Veya Yachts is already revealing the broad outlines of its second model.

More compact, the Veya 47 adopts the philosophy of its larger sibling while claiming a program of its own. At 47'7" (14.5 m) long with a beam of 22'6" (6.85 m), this new multipower should nevertheless retain a strong emphasis on outdoor spaces and easy circulation on board.
For now, the project includes a flybridge - with or without a protective T-Top - a forward lounge, a vast aft cockpit, a full-beam aft platform and dedicated storage for water toys. Three- and four-cabin versions are currently under consideration, but Veya points out that the layout, equipment and division between standard and optional features are still being finalized.
For propulsion, the initial specifications call for twin 440 hp Yanmar 6LY engines with V-drive transmissions. With a draft of just 3'3" (0.99 m), the Veya 47 will also retain one of the 53’s interesting features for anchoring when it comes to getting as close to shore as possible. We will, however, have to wait another year before stepping aboard: the world premiere is scheduled for the 2027 Cannes Yachting Festival. A third model, this time larger, is already planned for 2028.
