Florent Battistella kept his promise: the new Veya 53, developed through a joint venture between Fountaine Pajot and Couach Catamarans, will make its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival. The CEO of Couach recently showed us hull #1, scheduled for launch on July 13, as well as the three subsequent units currently under construction.
Designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, this 53' power catamaran positions itself as a premium cruising yacht intended for comfortable voyages and extended stays aboard. Its contemporary styling is highlighted by a reverse-sheer coachroof, while its spacious living areas are available in three- or four-cabin layouts.
The generous flybridge, large aft cockpit, and forward lounge create seamless circulation throughout the yacht and provide excellent spaces for entertaining and relaxation. Powered by twin diesel engines ranging from 400 to 550 hp, the Veya 53 is expected to deliver strong performance. The new brand is already planning to expand its range with both smaller and larger models in the near future.
