Having launched the Catana 70 ten years ago now, a 70-foot catamaran is nothing new for Catana Group… but for Bali, it’s a whole different ballgame!
The brand has long focused on the charter market, quickly concentrating its lineup on 40- to 54-footers. More recently, Bali has strayed somewhat from this pattern with the 37-foot Catsmart and the current flagship, the 5.8. So, the announcement of the upcoming 7.0 will completely reshape the brand’s image and positioning. In this size class, uncompromising luxury is omnipresent, whether for private owner use or charter work. The Bali DNA, however, remains very much intact with the signature up-and-over door. But aboard the 7.0, this will be complemented by a large, glazed door at the front. This configuration allows for flush-decked access via the nacelle all the way to the front of the catamaran. Also in evidence is a brand-new coachroof design which is now tinted and, most notably, features highly forward-set side arches. The shipyard is offering an owner’s version that incorporates an entire hull, promising a truly impressive and private suite.
