Developed in partnership with Power & Sail Hungary, this first electric powercat from the Catana Group is designed to sail on Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe where internal combustion engines are no longer permitted.
The builder mobilized its in-house teams to ensure the complete integration of the electrical systems, while the distributor handled the installation and certification of the vessel. The choice fell on 40 kW ePropulsion X Series motors. The performance is obviously a vast improvement over the basic internal combustion versions (2 x 300 or 400 hp) capable of exceeding 40 knots. Here, the goal is zero emissions. The Yot 36 Electric offers a top speed of 9.2 knots and a range of over 43 nautical miles at 5 knots (75 nautical miles at 4 knots).
