Yot 53

A Beach Club Almost 33 Feet Wide

While hull #1 of the Yot 53, which we were able to discover in Cannes, was built at the Marans facility, the tooling is now in place at the Aveiro site in Portugal to produce the following units.

The 53, the brand’s first model to be powered by inboard engines, retains a relatively narrow beam so as not to put off buyers coming from monohull powerboats when it comes to marina fees. More interestingly, the powercat adopts the tilting door that has made the Bali name famous. To make the most of this opening between the cockpit and saloon, the U-shaped galley has been moved forward. In the three-cabin version, the builder offers an imposing Owner’s cabin forward, spanning the full beam. Aft, there is a giant beach club featuring opening platforms on either side, retractable sunpads, modular furniture facing either inward or outward, and a hydraulic platform.
