The story of 727 Sailbags began in 2005 with the creation of a travel bag made from the worn sails of a family yacht, a Farr 727.
Twenty years later, the company has kept this emblematic “727” name, employs around thirty people in Lorient, works with nearly 150 distributors worldwide, and - most importantly - has upcycled more than 60,000 m² of used sails.
An iconic model? The Travel crossbody bag is the perfect choice for keeping essential items close at hand: papers, a bit of cash for a drink, the dinghy kill cord, or a phone. Always made from recycled sailcloth, the Travel bag is compact, lightweight and comfortable; its ideal size means you almost forget you’re wearing it.
The Plus: The Travel bag is made from soft Dacron sailcloth with leather inserts, adding a touch of elegance. Its adjustable shoulder strap allows for a perfect fit. The main compartment and two large pockets provide well-organised storage.
We love: An origin certificate stitched onto the back guarantees the provenance of the sail, indicating the name of the boat it came from!
Unisex, the Travel bag is suitable for both women and men.
Available in two colourways: blue leather and linen/leather amber
Price: $ 130
