Already well established on the European market, Micron 350 antifouling developed by International (AkzoNobel) will be available in Asia-Pacific countries from September 2026.
This geographical expansion supports the development of this self-polishing paint in a region where tropical and subtropical conditions are particularly conducive to hull fouling.
Designed to provide protection for up to two seasons, Micron 350 uses self-polishing technology that gradually renews the coating surface as it wears. The aim is twofold: to maintain a smooth hull over time and prevent the build-up of paint layers with successive applications.
The product is designed to remain effective both while sailing and during periods when the boat is not in use, a valuable feature in areas where marine growth can be particularly rapid.
Compatible with all materials except aluminum, Micron 350 can be applied by roller, brush or, by professionals, airless spray. International recommends using it with Interprotect and Primocon primers. The antifouling will be available in two colors: black and blue.
Available in Europe for several years, Micron 350 is continuing its international rollout, with its launch in Asia-Pacific markets scheduled for September.
