The new feature of the Offshore Rescue (in addition to the characteristics described below) is that it is available in black... Many skippers have expressed a certain weariness with safety tools all being orange or some fluorescent color. This choice is debatable, as these bright colors are more visible... However, the ship's knife is also useful for ropework and fishing, so in terms of safety equipment, it’s likely to see much more use than a dry-powder fire extinguisher!
