Building on the success of these portable electric motors, that are now available in more than 30 countries, Temo is expanding its range with Seaside, a new generation of 500 W to 6,000 W pods. These systems are perfectly suited to the electric propulsion needs of small multihulls and their tenders, whether for new builds or refits.

The compact and modular Seaside pods operate on a 48 V architecture and are easy to install. The plug-and-play system is compatible with a wide range of battery banks and displays. The various mechanical configurations (fixed, rotating, or outboard) make it possible to equip both tenders and light catamarans.

The manufacturer emphasizes reliability and durability: mechanical seal watertightness, 3-year warranty, virtually no maintenance required before 1,500 hours run-time. Temo also incorporates hydrogeneration and solar compatibility, two key advantages for multihulls with large areas of solar panels. When under way and under sail, the system allows energy to be recovered, thus optimizing the boat’s level of self-sufficiency.
