Operation: ‘Marins sans Frontières’

As from 1st January 2010, the French law concerning safety at sea has changed.

Any leisure sailor wishing to sail more than 6 miles from shelter in France must equip themselves with 150N lifejackets. What are you going to do with your old 100N lifejackets? ‘Marins sans Frontières', which has just celebrated its 26th anniversary, is offering to collect them, so they can be used by the fishermen and inhabitants of Madagascar. For this, nothing is simpler: just leave your old lifejackets in any Accastillage Diffusion shop.
