Built by Brazilian shipyard AG Catamarans and designed by Italian naval architect Paolo Ferragni, the AG54’ is a cruising powercat that places the emphasis squarely on space, comfort and onboard liveability.
With a beam of 23’9" (7.25 m) and nearly 2,130 sq ft (198 m²) of usable living space claimed by the builder, the AG54’ is designed to compete with significantly larger monohull yachts while retaining the key advantages of a multihull: stability, shallow draft and moderate fuel consumption.
The flybridge features a true outdoor living area complete with a bar, refrigerator, sunpads and a large dining space, while the aft cockpit connects seamlessly with the saloon through a wide opening. Inside, the AG54’ can be configured with three or four cabins, including two owner-style suites, as well as a spacious air-conditioned saloon and a particularly well-equipped U-shaped galley. Built in composite materials with a PVC foam core, the powercat is available with several engine options, up to Volvo Penta IPS 650s.
The AG54’ will appeal to owners looking for a comfortable platform for coastal and semi-offshore cruising, while also being well suited to high-end charter operations.
