Caribbean Multihull Challenge: A record to beat for the third edition!

On the back its success last February with nearly 20 participants, the CMC has just announced the dates for its third edition: February 5th – 7th next year.

This event organized by the Sint Maarten Yacht Club is reserved for multihulls - divided into four categories. Last year, the organizers set up a 60-mile testing course for the fastest multihulls starting from Simpson Bay with Saint Barth and Tintamarre to tack round. It was the Mod 70 Argo that won with a time of 3h 19m 22s. The principle of a perennial record – The 60 Mile Multihull Sprint – will be validated from the 2021 edition. It will be open to multihulls capable of completing the course in under 6 hours, i.e. the competitors entered in the Ocean Racing class, but also the Gunboats, HH and Marsaudons of the Ocean Cruising class. A great show is lined up!
