Caribbean Multihull Challenge

Regatta or Rally in the Tropics…

How can you resist the call of the trade winds? From January 29th to February 1st, the Caribbean Multihull Challenge - also known as the CMC - invites you to join a large gathering of multihulls in St. Martin.

This 7th edition of the event is organized by the Sint Maarten Yacht Club, well-known for its involvement in major events like the Heineken Regatta, and takes place over four days. Its unique feature lies in its dual format - regatta and rally. Those who prefer a thrilling start can enjoy long, dreamlike courses - circumnavigating the island, round trips to St. Barth and Saba - while the rally fleet travels around, with stops in Philipsburg, Anse Marcel, and Gustavia.

Among the latest entrants, Marcos Sirota, former owner of the Corsair 37 trimaran Honey Badger, has acquired Paradox 3, a multihull inspired by the old Orma 60 class. Aboard his speedboat, renamed Sophia and therefore registered in the 2026 CMC, Marcos aims to be the fastest in this four-day competition. This spectacular competitor has already participated in the event - it was then called Shockwave.

As a reminder, CMC entries are open to all multihulls!
