Multihull

COLOMBE 80’ - Luxury catamaran by Vincent Lebailly

This catamaran has been designed with composite construction in mind, but aluminum is still conceivable. The hulls are deliberately wide to offer a maximum of volume inside, and the shallow keels have been retained for their simplicity and quality of protection of the rudders and propshafts. Up top, the teak decking is not limited to horizontal surfaces - the boards raise gently at the base of the superstructure to soften the lines. The architects have chosen a forward lounge, a protected aft cockpit and the flybridge as relaxation areas. The sail maneuvering stations are positioned at mid-level. The nacelle is accessible via three separate passages. The layout favors the privacy of the guests without forgetting the facilities for the crew.
