JFA 78'

It’s only just been made official: the JFA 78’ has been ordered from the builder, for a project offered by Marc Lombard and JFA Yachts to a customer who had been particularly impressed by the Long Island 85.

This big motor catamaran is intended for long-term cruising and will be propelled by 2 x 500 hp motors. The hulls are in aluminum, while the deck and the superstructure are built in composites. The accommodation has been created by Franck Darnet Design. The range must be transatlantic, and the cruising speed, 12 knots (15 knots top speed, half-laden). The launch of this superb vessel is planned for two years’ time.
