Born on June 3rd 1986 in Manacor, on the island of Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain), Rafael Nadal is without doubt one of the top tennis players in the world. A professional since 2001, the champion, who has won no less than 19 Grand Slam titles, has always enjoyed yachting: he has owned a Monte Carlo 76. But he seems to have caught the multihull bug, as he recently chartered a Sunreef sailing catamaran before taking delivery of his 80 Sunreef Power.
For Francis Lapp, president and founder of the shipyard, this was a day to be remembered: “It was an unforgettable event for our shipyard, to hand over the yacht to such an incredible person and athlete as Rafael Nadal.
