At Sunreef, the rhythm of the announcements of new models isn’t just a communications exercise. No, the boats all splash at the same pace! To start the year off, the world leader in custom luxury multihulls is presenting the flagship of their Eco range, the Sunreef 43M Eco. This model will also be available in the sailing range, sitting between the 100 and the MM 460 Cat.
The ambition of this very luxurious catamaran is to let its crew sail anywhere and as much as they like... without using any fossil fuels. Its avant-garde solar panel technology - they are integrated to the hulls, the mast and the boom - associated with an efficient hydrogeneration system when going along under sail should allow the 43M to produce all its own energy. The engine power is moderate, given the scale of this multihull.
In terms of design, this new Sunreef picks up on the lines of the 70 and the 100, but with a lower bulwark at the level of the superstructures. This allows for a contained freeboard, particularly concerning the coachroof, yet maintains optimal natural light in the nacelle. On deck, the large flybridge includes a relaxation area equipped with sunbeds, a bar, a Jacuzzi, and an open-air cinema. The stern of the Sunreef 43M Eco features a large Ocean Lounge - a beach club that merges the aft platform, the sugarscoops and two fold-down pushpits into one huge relaxation area. This fully customizable space can accommodate an ocean-view massage room and a bar (or fitness area). The aft garage, invisible from the outside, is homes to two large jet skis, electric water toys and of course inflatable catamarans.
Inside, as on all Sunreef yachts, the interior is designed and created according to the owner's desires, using ethically sourced woods, natural fabrics and sustainable materials. Intelligent energy and water management systems monitor and optimize energy consumption on board, day and night.
