As in previous years, the Fédération des Industries Nautique Francaise (FIN) has published a comprehensive study of the nautical industry.
As the French industry has considerable weight in this area, the figures supplied are interesting for us enthusiasts. For example, we discover in this study that in the period September 2015/September 2016, the multihull segment’s turnover increased by 15.5% over the year, with 247.5 million euros, compared with the cruising monohull segment's turnover of 307 million euros over the same period. In one year, France built 573 cruising multihulls over 9m (including 288 from 12 to 15 m), which puts the price of an average boat at 432,000 euros…
