With the exception of a few details - the port and starboard foils aren’t identical - the huge 32 m (105’) long and 24 m (79’) beam racer is now ready for the delayed 2020 season. According to skipper Thomas Coville, the first trip out really highlighted her foiling stability. The trimaran reached 32 knots on her first sail off the coast of Brittany, France. It should be remembered that with her 700 m² (7,530 sq ft) of downwind sail area, this incredible machine could record top speeds of 45 to 50 knots...
