Based in New Zealand since 2016, Earthling has become a specialist in electric drivetrains and offers a hybrid powercat similar to the very sleek Stealth 36 – a catamaran designed by Australian Alan Carwardine and built in Phuket, Thailand.
This sailing-inspired design is somewhat unusual in the world of powercats, but it has the advantage of generating very little drag at low and medium speeds thanks to the fineness of its hulls. As for the keels, these have been designed to allow for taking the ground while protecting the rudders. Check out the test in a forthcoming issue of Multihulls World!
