CCY110

A Giant Aluminum Catamaran

Canadian builder Crescent Custom Yachts has begun construction of the first hull of its CCY110, a 109'11" (33.5 m) catamaran offered as a spec build.

This approach allows a future owner to benefit from a shorter delivery time while retaining extensive freedom to customize the interior layout and technical equipment as construction progresses.

Designed by Joe Lazzara and engineered by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects, the CCY110 aims to offer the volume and amenities of a 45 m (147'8") monohull while remaining below the 500 GT threshold thanks to its shallow-draft aluminum multihull platform. The builder highlights improved energy efficiency, greater stability and access to cruising grounds such as Florida and The Bahamas, which are inaccessible to many yachts of comparable size.

One of the project's standout features is its 1,507 sq ft (140 m²) beach club, conceived as the heart of life on board. It includes an outdoor galley with a teppanyaki grill, a plunge pool, a wellness area, several lounge spaces and direct access to the sea. The CCY110 can accommodate six cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite.

The builder plans to present its new multihull range in greater detail at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show next October.
