Sixteen of these aluminum catamarans have already been built by Garcia Yachts since 2020 (check out our test). This is a boat designed for exploration programs, and it’s somewhat unique in the world of cruising catamarans - but that doesn't mean it can't evolve.
The shipyard has announced a new design for hatches in the after end of the hulls and more user-friendly sugarscoops. But what’s of even greater interest to serious sailors is the option to choose between two versions of the helm/maneuvering stations. Based on the principle of a pivoting steering column, you can opt for a lower or upper console - with a wider bench seat and possibly an outdoor galley.
